Office Refurbishment

Archant Limited had the exciting opportunity to move one of their offices to a new premises in Ipswich - 1060m2 Two Storey Building.

Archant are a newspaper and magazine publishing company who publish 4 daily newspapers, 50 weekly newspapers and 80 consumer magazine.

r4 interiors brief: internal fit-out consisting of a main reception and waiting area, work stations, meeting rooms, boardrooms, offices, informal meeting rooms and breakout space.

Burton Green Design completed the design for the new space, creating an industrial look keeping in touch with the heritage of the building with exposed ceilings, steel work, electrical and mechanical services. Modern and contemporary touches were used throughout the building with bespoke joinery and furniture. The colours used were fitting with Archant’s logo and to differentiate the area’s and breakout spaces to create a unique finish for the building.

R4 interiors completed all the refurbishment works and were the principle contractor throughout the project, having fortnighly meetings with the principle designer, designer, electrical and mechanical designer’s to meet the brief set. The project took just over 6 months to complete including fitting a new roof, adding a lift, ventilation, air conditioning, electrics and data.
